Sunday randomness

So, I've decided that I like little more in life than being completely random. Sunday is the start of a new week, giving us (hopefully) a new outlook on life. In the spirit of that newness, I will try to post some Sunday randomness every Sunday (as long as I have access to a computer) to get my thought process going.

Be warned, you will now know ( Read more... )

television, music, movies, school, randomness, sports talk

I am from the Caps area but I moved to Pittsburgh and...

LET'S GO PENS! LET'S GO PENS! LET'S GO PENS!

Also, don't feel bad about Burnin' Up. I still jam to that song.

Oh, you got to Pitt? Nice. I have some family that went there. I was actually born in Pittsburgh, and my dad was born and bred there, hence my love for Pitt, the Steelers and the Pens (I don't dislike the Pirates, I'm just apathetic at this point, lol).

And I may have Burnin' Up on my iPod. *blush*

I have Burnin' Up on my ipod, my dance music playlist, and my work-out music playlist. I enjoy lipsyncing it with my older sister and younger brother. <3

Don't be ashamed!

And yep, I'm in my second year at Pitt. My mother and uncle both went there. I love the Steelers and Pens, but the Bucs...meh.

"Meh" should be the Bucs slogan, lol. Cool though, it's definitely a great school. I was in Pittsburgh over Christmas visiting my gramps. I quite like it. Took my nieces on the incline (and it was some of the adults that were afraid of the height. The girls loved it...and the snow, lol).

Oh my goodness! You should let me know if you ever come back here!

I am absolutely falling in love with Pittsburgh. Even though it's been two years, I am still finding new things to explore, and now I am addicted to Southside. The only thing is the cold! Ugh!

I definitely will. I try to go at least once a year, if not more. I have a lot of cousins up there, but they're the older ones, my dad's age and such. My goal is to get to a game this fall with my dad. I've never seen a Steelers game in Pittsburgh and it's on my faux bucket list.

And yes, I love Pittsburgh. Cheesy to say, but it feels blue collar. That city has insane character and a lot of culture. And AWESOME food, lol.

It's weird, it's slowly shifting to this interesting mix of blue collar and incredible artsiness. You see the United Steel Workers building next to the plant-sculpture wall on the PNC building and it's just amazing.

And yes, the food is amazing.
