Christmas Eve 2013
My first Christmas Eve in 23 years with no one to spend it with. Kind of a strange feeling, but I'm not letting it get me down too much. I'll be heading to family party in a couple of hours and then back home to sit in front of the fire and watch some movies.
It is 3:15pm right now and if things hadn't changed so suddenly back in October we would be sitting in the 2nd balcony at Symphony Hall listening to the Boston Pops play Christmas music, as we had done for the prior 7 years. I really don't think I'll ever enjoy Christmas again.
