some self-praise, "I want a standing ovation!"
so, a couple months ago, when my wife was out of the hospital, for a couple weeks --without hesitation or any expression whatsoever of anything resembling complaint!-- I helped my wife with the post-deposit process of going to the bathroom, i.e., I wiped for her. I am very glad that I was able to do that, very proud of myself. And I was damn thorough, too. (I wet each wad of paper and all that.) Granted, I did pre-fold about eight or ten wads of paper in rapid fashion so as to make the process go more efficiently, but I think that made it easier for her too.
