The Week in Review
Well, this has been a pretty rot week, so I think I'll bitch about it in my LJ. That should make me feel better.
The color blue also makes me feel better.
Saturday there was massive halo, except we half-ass played a Cthulu board game. Then we played some Halo, and I guess it was good. I went to see Transformers with Rodney, Roger, and Lia, and that was pretty fun. We then went out shopping for Tuxedos. It was a bit of a fiasco and I was getting a little crowded, but I did discover that Roger likes pink and purple. I may end up going with a periwinkle/lilac color for either my vest or the groomsman's vests. Also they will be inexpensive, but nice through Goody's. And I need to remember to get coattails.
Which reminds me, I need to get ahold of Jordan.
Sunday Lia and I went to see Beauty and the Beast, which was this total piece of Disney trash put on in live action version. It was atrocious, but the actors were decent. Woody gave us free tickets and seemed to be pleased we subjected ourselves to it. I read Harry Potter until 4:30 in the morning, finishing it. Chapter 33 is the best.
I don't remember Monday. At all. I think I slept after taking off work early.
Tuesday I was supposed to meet a lawyer with mom, but we didn't. She not gonna buy me out on the house, although she did still buy me a car.
Which brings me to wednesday. Went to look at this Olds. Aurora in the paper. It looked pretty nice but the guy gave off a weird vibe. Had mom look at it thursday, and gave her a checklist of stuff to ask the guy. We played Cthulu game in it's entirety, and it was pretty fun. We then went to Denny's: See the Denny's fiasco post.
Thursday: Mom didn't ask the guy a single question, but instead bought the car. She said she was tired, because she had to work at 4, and had to get up at noon (she went to bed at 3, which is 9 hours of sleep. Another testamen to my mother's craziness.)
I took off early to go help pick it up, went to the license branch, got my places, got my title, went to get it and it wouldn't start. The guy said it was the battery, but I know what a dead battery sounds like. Called a mechanic, I talked to the mechanic (who was good, and honest, and DID NOT give off a weirdo vibe.) and he told me it was the altenator. I told the guy he was going to pay to have the sonnabitch fixed. I'm calling the mechanic (Denny's Auto Sale & Repair in Jasper) on Monday to make sure I'm not being fucked with. I went home and drowned my woes in Heroes V.
Friday: The muffler fell off the Geo halfway to work today. I'm going to go fix it outside before I get off work which is soon. It just started pouring rain a couple minutes ago. Yay.
This weekend should be full of DnD and Halo, or at least thats what I've been promised. I don't have my hopes up, but I may use these whispers of promised plans as an excuse to murder some people, so it all works out in my favor.
