In Which A Cop Deals With a Territorial Kitten
The cop had come home close to almost one in the morning. Nothing unusual there. He'd fed and watered Diablo and given the kitten attention. Afterwards, rather than go on to bed he'd headed off and turned on the television and then laid down on the couch and watched a late night football game. Eventually, of course, the cop fell asleep.
Hissing greeted him when he woke. What was Diablo hissing at? He wondered if an intruder had come into his home while he slept and that's what the cat was hissing at. Except when he opened his eyes he was nearly face to face with Diablo. "Stop that Diablo" But what came out was a series of meows and a hiss. Sitting up he moved around only to feel that he was caught. Looking down he noticed that a pair of claws were trapped in the material of the sofa. Wait?! Claws?!
Finally getting the claws out of the cusion he jumps over Diablo and runs over jumping up onto a chair and then up onto a table. Normally this would be a big no no for Diablo but the other kitten has become territorial and doesn't like the fact that another cat is his home. Another male cat at that. So now the cop has to find a way to keep from getting clawed up and killed by his own pet.
