Yes, the cold snap is here. Mid-October come early. I hated the weather change when I was running for office. It always felt like an ill wind was blowing in, along with the election of the ill-suited candidates. (At least my fault was naiveté at the time.)
However, getting out on the road today will be, as the meteorologist called it, "chilly". Well, no kidding! And I get to do it on a bicycle. This is by choice, but the early chill... just ugh. Time to get dressed, put on the lights, and face the wind. Cold, windy, bitter, New England Weather? Bring it on.
