Biggest long-shot of the century

As the subject line says, I know this is the biggest long-shot of the century, but:

- Looking for Antoni/Anthony Kolodziej.
- Born probably between 1915 and 1920.
- Born most probably in Gorliczyna, Poland.
- Parents Michal and Zofia Kolodziej.
- Religion would have been Roman Catholic.
- Sister Teresa (born 1925, married Waclaw Korbel, came to Australia in 1950 on the SS Nelly), sister Stefonia (not 100% sure). Other brothers and sisters, possibly about 7 kids in total.

- Last traced to Canada in 1951 by the Red Cross, he declined to pass on his address at that time.

- Re-tracing in 1959 fails to find his information in the Immigration Branch of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration in Ottawa covering the period 1945 to 1951.

I'm going to try retracing him through the Red Cross again, but if anyone reading this gets INCREDIBLY bored and has any ideas on other avenues I can persue... *shrug*

I'm trying to put together my family tree. This is going to be incredibly difficult as details start getting incredibly patchy just at my grandparents' level.
