Welcome to the World Chase Newman
Well for those of you who don't know already, our second baby arrived on Tuesday Septemeber 19th at 11:22 am. Chase Edward Newman was 7 lbs 1 oz, and 20 &1/4 inches long. We got to the hospital at about 430 in the morning and the lovely michelle came and got kayla so she wouldnt be traumatized for the rest of her life. They tried to make me walk for an hour but i couldnt even make it half an hour cuz the pain was awful, and i refused to have an epidural...yeah im stubborn, i figured...i didnt have one with Kayla and they scare me so i toughed it out, however i almost caved near the end. They broke my water with 2 cm left to go and started me on oxytocin to get the rest of the way over with and it went so fast that my doctor was JUST able to make it back, she had seriously just finished putting on her scrubs. I pushed twice and the second push he was out and almost on the floor! lol
We got home on Wednesday. Chase is an awesome baby, so quiet and content...alot like kayla was i think that hes even a little quieter than she was. We're feeling up to visitors on the weekend so if ne one has no plans feel free to call and maybe come out :)
