Day 7 (Jan 2): The Cold Front
Woke up early (just before sunrise), but it was useless to go anywhere to try to watch it. The clouds, wind, and cold (a frigid 50-something) made me unwilling to go anywhere. Therefore, I found a copy of Ender's Game lying around and made it to Command School before anyone else woke up a few hours later. We had pancakes, watched some more Planet Earth and took a van down to the Abaco Inn for a late lunch. I did some shopping once we got back, ending with a shirt I really like, then settled into the house to finish Ender's game, watch Planet Earth, and play on the computer. I'm feeling really anti-social right now. My suspicion tells me that it's just me not wanting to be inside, a feeling of over-debt to christen's family, and/or Christen's antisociability getting to me. In any case, I ducked out on dinner (read that again) to read and write this. I've reached some resolutions (positive ones, I think) unrelated to today on a few things. Ask me about them in person or through e-mail if you're actually interested.
By no means am I unhappy. Don't get me wrong. How could I be unhappy here? Really? It's too chill here to get worked anything.
A week has gone by here in paradise.
