The whole last week has been spent at home, with an inflamed shoulder and hip. The doctor gave me a strict order to stay away from computers and I´ve (nearly) managed to obey him. I am ok now, and ready for work again.
*sigh*
Have to admit I am tempted to call him and whine about horrible aches and pains just to be off work another week, but I will behave myself.
Had Maija visiting this weekend. That girl has very impressive amounts of alcohol. She brought over a Glenlivet and a very good red wine. I supposedly "passed out" (lies) at three in the morning, snoring away (more lies) while she wrote a lot of drunken bullshit on a message-board. But who wouldn´t fall asleep on a friday-night?? After all I am no spring-chicken anymore, I work a lot, I have kids. Normally I´m asleep in the sofa before eleven on friday nights. With a cup of tea in front of me...
The reason I stayed awake for so long is that the wine was great, we played music, laughed and had very uplifting conversations about Till and the other guys in Rammstein. We also searched the pics in Messer after evidence of a thong underneath Tills body-condom. Which I think we found actually. How cute...
Yesterday I went to her place, we drank some more and took off to a student-party at the faculty-pub. Honestly, I think I could have been the mother of most the people there, or at least an auntie, and I did feel a tiiiny bit out of place. It was fun alright, and I enjoyed myself (until about three in the morning) Hell, I even danced to Rammstein! I don´t think age is all that important, but it can definitely get in the way sometimes. At least in my head it does, when I´m twice as old as the rest of the gang. Well, Maija was done partying at six-thirty in the morning, she woke me up (ja ja, just taking a nap again) and we went home. Which reminds me, -have to get some sleep before going to work.
fun,
friends,
