since you were worried about lj drama, it might be a good idea, though i've never been a fan of that particular practice... i like being able to make new friends and reconnect w/ old ones via lj, and makin it friends only makes this tres difficile if not impossible... anyway... it's your choice... as long as i'm on said friends list i really remain remotely unaffected
