Valentine' Day
The most pointless and dreaded holiday of all has once again crept up on us. What might i be speaking of? Valentines of Course.
The Most Commercial holiday of all. The day created by Card, Chocolate, and Flower companies all over the country with the only purpose of mass marketing their products and making vast amount of profit.
Valentines Day is to serve as a day where those in love happen to give each other gifts to show exactly what they feel for each other, and how much they so happen to love each other.
When actually paying attention to this definition of this "holiday," it is clearly noticeable just how commercial it is.
It only serves to sell merchandise!
If one happens to be truly in love with someone, one should not need this so called special day to confess or show their love.
True Love should be shown or confessed any day, there truly serves no reason to even have a Valentine's day.
If you truly need a day to show that special someone how affectionate you are towards them, then that just goes to show you your love is not pure.
A Holiday should not be needed in order for you to be affectionate towards that significant other, Love should be shown any day where ever you might be.
True Love does not need a reason for a day like Valentines.
