1. What would be your dream meal? (Appetizer(s), main, dessert(s), drink(s)...)
It's hard for a non-cooking person to visualize a dream meal, so I'm going to go the safe route and say that the meals I've eaten at The Melting Pot (the three times I've been there) are dream meal experiences. Beer cheese with green apples, bananas with milk chocolate, raviolis and portabellos, topped with a turtletini... pretty close to heaven.
2. Can you see yourself leaving TN? If so, where would you totally love to move? Where would you NOT want to move?
I can not only see myself leaving TN, I would actually like to do so. When I moved back here in 2004, it was meant to be temporary. But the past six years have been full of economic hardship (mine and the nation's) and other dramas, so it just hasn't been practical to move, although I've certainly thought about it.
I would love to one day move back to Asheville, NC. It still feels very much like home. I would also love to move to Chicago (except for the cold factor), or to the Charleston, SC area. Or to Portland, OR. Or, heck, as long as I'm dreaming, maybe Paris, Berlin, maybe somewhere in Ireland, maybe Bolivia?
I would NOT like to move any further into the thick of the Bible Belt than I already am!
3. Do you read or follow astrology? What's your sign and do you think you fit its description?
I wouldn't say I follow it, but I do find it interesting and read up on it occasionally. I am a Taurus, and it fits. Loyal? Check. Dependable? Check. Stubborn as all-get-out? Check.
4. Which Lucy Maud Montgomery book is your favourite?
Anne of Green Gables, totally. I'm sure it's not the best on a literary level, but the sentimental value trumps that. You just can't top your first true book love.
5. What episode of The Muppet Show would you like most like to have seen filmed in real life?
Oh my, that's a tough one. I think I'd have to go with the Star Wars episode, with Mark Hamill both as himself and in character as Luke Skywalker, C3P0 and R2D2. It would be a true geek experience. Acceptable substitutes: Elton John, Julie Andrews, Carol Channing (I like it when she sings with Miss Piggy!)
