THE MOVIE LIST
*denotes a movie I had seen before, ^a movie I saw in the theater (sadly few this year). bold denotes a movie I recommend to everyone. If it's not bold, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it or that I would recommend it to some, it just means it's not an "Amazing, EVERYONE should see this" movie. Or, it might mean that I didn't like it. If you want to know, just ask!

THE BOOK LIST

Only COMPLETED reads are counted, there quite a few this year that I started and didn't finish. I count children's chapter books with some length (yes, I do count Baby-Sitters Club), but not picture books. Graphic novels do count, but single-issue comics do not. It makes sense to me-- just a matter of bulk. * denotes a re-read, and bold denotes a book I recommend to all. As with the movies, not recommending it to ALL doesn't necessarily mean I didn't enjoy it, blah blah blah
