I now fully understand why bounce houses are all the rage. Aisling's birthday party was a good time for all, grown-ups included. I went down the giant slide so many times that I lost count, and went through the giant obstacle course three times, and spent a fair bit of time in the enclosed trampoline spaces. Their music is very well chosen-- we bounced to/danced to "Life is a Highway," "I Like to Move It Move It," "I Wanna Rock and Roll All Nite," the sped up version of "Rocky Top" and various other bouncy tunes.
I am now convinced that the key to world peace would be to put the Bushes, the Clintons, Obama, McCain, and whoever else in a bounce house and let them bounce it out.
My dress fits, although the seamstress advises that I might want to lose a little more weight. *sigh* I can overlook that, since she hemmed it, took up the shoulders, and let out the bodice for the grand sum of twenty bucks.
All bridesmaid dresses have been distributed to the appropriate parties. I performed door-to-door delivery service in Morristown with my mother's help. I think I even managed to get everyone their correct size.
Aisling's dress is being exchanged for a bigger size. She's less than thrilled about the design-- she thinks it looks like a cow. But Devon says she'll just have to get over it.
We now have a new very affordable option for rehearsal dinner space, that has a private dining room and won't even charge us extra for it. I keep forgetting the name of it. I've never been there, but Lee has at some point or another. I'm glad
touchofscarlet put the idea of Asian into my head!
tangledstories, sorry I missed your call-- I was dead asleep due to having been woken up at 6:30 a.m. by my nieces. We will talk soon.
