i bought a really amazing vintage dress today at cheap thrills. it's probably the prettiest thing i own. and it may be my new favorite thing in the world.
screw people. screw love. gimme vintage dresses.
if i can ever find my little port thingie for my digital camera, i'll take a picture and put it up here. but for now, i'll just describe it...
think...donna reed or lucille ball...it's this baby blue color, with a lace overlay on the front..the back skirt is this wonderful silky satin that's so nice and full...it's all about knee length..or a bit higher actually..OOHHH and the back bodice is the sheer lace with buttons that run all the way up!
yeah...i love it. i feel so...i don't know...1950s wholesome in it, but really pretty at the same time!
