Raining again...
Rain, rain, go away…nah, actually I like rain, even the thundering and lightning. I don’t think it rains as much as it did when I was a child. I remember really bad storms that seemed like they would blow everything away. And the electricity would ALWAYS go out, sometimes for a day or two. Now that part I didn’t like. But it rarely storms here anymore, just drizzles and drips mostly.
When I was a little girl, the house we lived in had a tin roof. Rain sounds wonderful and soothing on a tin roof. Of course, that particular roof was leaky, especially in the kitchen, which wasn’t a very good thing. You know, everyone seemed happier then, along time ago when we really didn’t have much.
