So today I was doing work experience at the speech and language unit, and incidentally I had to explain why we were doing a 2 minute silence for the anniversary of the London bombings. It's hard enough for adults to understand so imagine trying to explain it to 14 5 and 6 year olds with learning difficulties and speech and language problems. The U.K have had many terrorist attacks before with countless deaths and the way the world is right now they'll probably be more, but it didn't make it any easier to explain. One little boy seemed to think they were trying to kill the king, although the King did die 54 years ago. I think he was getting confused with Bonfire Night.
In other news I found out today that Ali has still been awarded at 2.1 in Business based on all the work he did before he died, after all he did everything except he final exams. Hopefully that will mean something to his parents.
I've got an interview for the Tees Valley Joint Strategy Unit in the Crime and Drugs department on Wednesday which I really want as it sounds really interesting and the pay's great. I've applied for others as well in case I don't get this one, I miss everyone at college so fucking much (and it's only been a week) that I just need something to take my mind off it so I might as well get paid for it.

Movie Quote of the Day
Tod in A Life Less Ordinary: "Do you think that I'd talk to a dog? Do you think I'd ask a dog whether you're good or evil? What do you think I am? Some kind of crazy backwoods lunatic with a barn full of human skulls and a scythe that I sharpen every day in readiness for Armageddon?"
