...Am I the only one who thinks that news report was odd? There's never been any mention of neighboring towns, and they expect us to leave.

Actually, there has been mention of Westport before. The news and Grady seem to be the only ones that ever talk about it though.

...I've never heard of it. Maybe it was before I came here.

It most likely was. I mean you would remember a food shortage like that.

Apparently I was here before, but I don't know. I don't remember anything before that voting thing that was going on.

That's what usually happens when people leave and come back. Personally, you should be happy you don't remember any of that.

What else happened when... I was here before?

Getting body parts in boxes for Christmas...in July...

A food shortage...

Getting locked in a room with someone that isn't your wife...

People getting sick and dying for a illness called the Red Asian Flu...

Um...people speaking their own languages.

I think that's about it.

...The language and being locked in a room doesn't sound too bad...

Do you think that murder scene could be connected to the body parts?

They weren't. But...things that were supposed to happen that didn't happen that probably did happen before waking up in the same room...were kind of broadcast on TV. It was embarrassing.

U-unless they have some sort of time machine...I doubt it.

Reality TV shows in this era?

It could have been a warning.

W-well things like that happen. I mean America did have a laptop during the war.

A warning? You're not saying the town knew of the riots back in July, are you?

Which one?

Nei, like... The ones you see in serial-killer films and whatnot. 'This is what will happen to you' kind of deal, or 'The end is near' kind of thing, maybe.

World War II.

O-oh. I just thought they were just trying to scare people and that was it?

...I didn't even know they had those back in World War II.

That's just a guess.
