I'm not standing for this. Russia can keep this government to himself--I want nothing to do with it. I spent too long trying to gain my independence, I'm not about to let someone take that away from me. I was fine with Mayfield--People were safer. But this place... It's like a death trap waiting to be tripped. If you've been alright so far, keep ( Read more... )

[It takes him about a minute for everything to sink in.]

...I...I love you too...stórbróðir. I'll be strong, b-but if they do anything to you... I would--

Wait, I've been trying to get Denmark to take a break since I saw him when I was-- [Wait, a second. ...If they do anything to me, I want you to try and be brave. You've got my blood, and in turn, the blood of a viking. Be brave. Be strong. Be hardy. Be like the person I was in my youth. Especially if I don't come back like England and a few other people.

He's too stubbo--When you were what? [It's gentle, but feel that protective tone?] Do what you can.

I'll...try my best then. [Can't you hear the lack of self-confidence? He always did feel like he was the fail one of the Nordics, considering he never got involved with all the raids and stuff since he was a kid at the time...and he's definitely no muscle head, that was Denmark's role.] What do you mean if you don't come back? This might not exactly be Mayfield but you'll-- they'll be back, right?

Nothing, nothing... [The following is said quickly and quietly.] When I was taping pictures over the windows of every apartment on a really tall ladder.

I'm proud to call you my brother, Iceland. [Oh, he can hear it alright. He's trying to keep his voice calm and level, but deep down he's afraid of them coming after his little brother.] ...I can't say for certain. Perhaps.

[Straining his ears to hear--All he got was 'taping', 'windows', and ' on a really tall ladder'.] ...You're alright?
