Another great find
Just finished reading another very good book, “The light between oceans” by M.L. Stedman. It’s a very beautiful story about the good and the ugly a marriage can bring, about commitment people carry in their marriages, and most importantly, about a parent’s love for his/her child. Even though the book started too slow for me, after I read through a few first pages, I was glued to it till the very end. And I mean glued - reading deep into a night, on a lunch break, before tennis (!), etc. A great analysis is done both from a view of a husband/father as well as a wife/mother. Perhaps the book touched my heart so much because I am a parent myself, I do not know. But I highly recommend this one to everyone, especially to those like me who thinks a lot about their marriage, about their parenthood and in general about their place in life.
