Just got this yesterday and finished it at the same day. Full review will follow this book rant.
Chapter 12: Of Ethan doing a magnificent backpedal: *groan* Ethan, you total fuckwit. That was totally predictable
Chapter 14: Of Ethan doing the unthinkable: Son of BITCH!!! SON OF A BITCH!!! Oh, no he didn’t!! *turn pages, gasp* HE DID!!! SON OF A BITCH!!! Merit, give me your katana so I can cut his fucking head off!!! SON OF A BITCH!!!! You’d think that a 400 something old vampire would know that would be a shitty thing to do or what it would look like. SON OF A BITCH!!!!
Chapter 16: Of Ethan’s attempts on ‘clearing the air’: Oh, shut up. Don’t let him off the hook girl. Let him suffer. That son of a bitch!! Of Ethan irritated because Merit keeps calling him Liege: Very amuse. Such subtle payback.
Chapter 19: Of Ethan being made fun off by his so-called minions at Temple Bar: *amuse*
Chapter 21: Of Ethan ordering Merit to go to the reception: Fucking Fuckwit. Ugh.
Chapter 22: Of Ethan ordering Merit to go to his office: Jealous much? Your did it to yourself, man.
Of Ethan justifying his actions in said office: Okay, pretty speech but you’re still a fuckwit. Seriously? You don’t see that your choices would cause Merit so much humiliation in front of the whole House? I thought you were supposed to be a good strat? ARGH. Men. Vampires or shifters, they’re still MEN.
Oooh, we finally get to know Merit’s first name!!! Kind of odd thinking of her as *bleep*, I prefer to call her Merit.
These are the strongest reaction I had for this book. Will make a review later.
