Progress, of sorts...
Apologies for the absence. I made the decision to switch service providers, and have now finally got working (wireless) broadband. Well, almost working - it seems to enjoy tormenting me by cutting out at random moments. As if to add to this spirit of technical innovation, I have registered with Facebook (primarily because people kept inviting me as a friend, and you can't read their pages if you aren't logged in).
It does raise the awkward question though - am I cheating on Livejournal with another website?
Anyway, postings will be intermittent, as you should be aware I am jetting off overseas again. I will try and update both as often as I can though.
