On his name
大江 公彦 | Ooe Kimihiko
(4:33:29 PM) Niki: Ooe is "big" and "inlet/bay". Kimihiko is interesting.
(4:34:24 PM) Niki: The first kanji can mean, say, prince, or lord or sir, but as a suffix. It's the same kanji boys use as a familiar "you".
(4:34:51 PM) Niki: The pronunciation suggests the "you" meaning above the suffix.
(4:35:48 PM) Niki: But the "kimi" pronunciation of the same kanji also has an archaic meaning, which is monarch, ruler, master, that kind of thing.
(4:36:00 PM) Niki: The second kanji in Kimihiko means "boy".
(12:30:51 AM) daibujou: welp, it's hard to look up like the name on a whole but
(12:31:08 AM) daibujou: the family name is likely "large river"

Canon Relevant NotesThe date at the start of volume 11 is given as Friday the 25th of April, 1992. At the most, the time between start and finish was perhaps a week, but possibly closer to just three days (Friday - the concert. Saturday - C meets Kido Haito, Shimazu brings the eye over. Kimi hacks Gakuso and goes to see Shinji. Sunday, Kimi gives Shimazu the information to go after Shimazu 2.0. Shimazu 1.0 dies. Monday, birthday, Kimihiko and C are eliminated by Lucy and Wakana). This would place their birthday as being the 28th of April, assuming these calculations are correct.
The cost to see °C perform is 2200 yen, which in 1992 was the equivalent of about $18 in USD.
