everybody's free .... to feel GOOOD!!!
hello beautiful people!
I feel I should update on the past few weeks, although there has been a lot on and I'm not sure I can summarise it very well! but here is the general idea:
Tuesday 2nd - went to see Miss Saigon with Anna and Becca - which was great! brilliant show.
I can't remember what I did for the rest of the week .... but on Friday I went to a party at Tim's with Caroline - which was super, although there was a huge fire a few miles away at about 2 or 3am, and we had to call the fire brigade as no-one else noticed!! good fun though :D
Sometime after that (I can't remember exactly when!) - went to visit my grandparents for a few days, which was really nice, chatted to my granny about lots of important things and got involved in the regatta!
On the day I came home, I went to meet some old family friends and took them to see mum's new house, which is shaping up very nicely.
The next day (wednesday) I went up to the Edinburgh festival with my dad, where my sister's singing group ( http://inthepink.org.uk ) was performing on the Fringe - went to see about 6 shows, including In The Pink's "twin" group ( http://users.ox.ac.uk/~ootb/online/content/menu.html) We were only there for a couple of days, or we would have seen more shows .... but had the most awesome time! I was staying with In The Pink in their hostel which was right on the Royal Mile, so you step out the door and are in the centre of everything!! amazing. I am definitely going up for longer next year, at least a week, maybe two, and hopefully by then I may have a music group or act that I can perform in as well.
So ... got back from Och-Aye-Land on Saturday afternoon (the flight only took an hour!!) and the next day, went to the launch of a CD, where Louise's band were playing - they did a really good acoustic set, and there was also an amazing band called Wire Jesus ( http://www.wirejesus.com ) Then afterwards went back and had dinner with the family of one of the other performers, and ate homemade ice cream!
Yesterday I met up with Amy - we had a really lovely time and I did some v successful shopping! so that was a nice day :D
That's about it - although it has all been much fun! As for this week, I'm doing my best to keep busy and not think about exam results too much! I'm just about to go and help Scott with his Kill Bill remake, and will provide the cast with wholesome baked foodstuffs (donuts), and tomorrow I am planning to attend about three different parties over the course of the day (this is the idea: get drunk / go to playzone / go clubbing / have a waterfight, and try and forget the idea that the next day will totally define the forseeable future!!)
anyway, all that remains to be said is - best of luck to EVERYONE on their exam results (argh - Thursday - the day of reckoning!!) - don't panic or stress - I know I won't!.... (haha!!) ;-)
