Filtered Friends and Family
I presented Ms. Skeeter's idea to follow a Muggle-born child through the system, to the Board of Governor's today. They are taking it under consideration. The safety of the child is a concern but they are interested.
After the meeting I had lunch with Mr. CreevyCreevey to purchase copies of photos from the Quidditch match. He says he shall have them for me on Thursday.
I spent the afternoon talking to Mr. Potter and Atticus. I've agreed to mentor the child but I have many doubts. He needs a positive influence and though I am an excellent example of how a pureblood young wizard should be, I don't think I have the parenting skills that will be required.
Atticus was thrilled when I told him and I would hate to disappoint him. I spent almost two hours with him just listening to him tell me about life at TCH, who hates him, who he hates, who he likes, who likes him... I think we have the scar issue settled for the time being. I'm sure it won't be long before someone says something awful about them but the boy doesn't smell nearly as bad as he did before so I assume he is bathing on a regular basis.
Bill isn't here. He's run off to help my other cousin with something or other. Do these people not know he's mine?
