its been a while now
Hey all,
Here's an update of what's going on. So you know that I put in a resignation from my job at the hotline so I'm actively searching for a replacement job in Ocala. I've sent in 2 that I'm particularly interested in but I have to wait to hear what's up with that. If nothing else, I'm employed with Kelly Services and they will help be gain employment. I found a college type apartment that I can live in. The rent is $345 and that includes utilities but it has a community laundry room and I'd have to share an apartment with 3 girls, not to mention share a bathroom again. I guess I have to make sacrifices. David still wants me to live with him and he's talked to my mom, informing her that he loves me and fully intends on marrying me after I graduate. He hopes that she will cave. I'm not sure that will happen but now she wants him to come to Tally so we can talk about the situation. Pretty much she's concerned about my honor and she wants to make sure that he will be taking care of me. Not that if we agree to all that she lays out, she will let us live together.
Apart from that, my family has been dealing with some random crises. One of my uncles died last june, another one died in January, my dad's aunt died in February and a 7 year old cousin drowned 2 weeks ago. Additionally, my mom has to find a new job as Leon High "will no longer be needing her services as of May 27th". All in all, we've been trying to deal. I'm ready to start being productive with my future and dive into a new job, school, and a whole new experiences.
Interviews for my position are next week. We're hiring for a lot of people around here. We need possibly 4 full time counselors (currently we only need 2 but 2 more might be coming open in the near future), 1 supervisor, possibly 3 program specialists (if they get the full time positions), 1 training coordinator (possibly an information specialist position if she gets the training coordinator position). Everyone's moving around, but I guess that's just summer here
