Some jolly looking man on Canada AM just informed me that we are likely to have a cold and snowy winter due to something he can see in some ocean. This makes me very happy. Our abnormally warm fall has been very depressing and now I have something to look forward to. I just find that my mind and body's reliance on seasonal change is huge and that as the whole concept of "normalized" seasonal weather goes out of the window, any semblance of pattern is comforting.
