Starbucks Benefits really are all they're cracked up to be
Man! I swear I've never felt so taken care of by a job I've had like I am being taken care of right now.
Sure it'll take a few days or whatever due to paper work needing to arrive at the correct departments and all, but I can't even tell you how nice it feels to receive all of this help while being a measly part time employee at the lowest rung of the totem pole.
So it may be a huge stress at times (although since I've stepped down, being a barista has been a lot easier,) but it's worth it when you're grabbing your ankles due to a car wreck/injury. Wish I would have known about this when my ankle was all jacked up. It might have healed sooner. *shrugs* At least I know now. I really have to thank my manager for pointing me in the right direction.
