Feeling Creative
Ok, so i recently wrote this poem and i'm gonna post it here cuz i feel like it.
Locked inside
Trying to Break Free
Not able to be Myself
Just hoping not to be washed over by the sea
My values are different then yours
I’m trying to be the person that I want to be
But every time I let my personality shine
Someone gets the best of me
Have more fun they say
Party it up
Every single day I pray
This has got to come to a stop.
I’m a dreamer, and work hard for all I’ve got.
Reserved and quiet, but secretly I’m not.
If one really got to know me, they’d realize im not shy.
I just don’t ruin opportunities, I try to fly.
Ignorance is Bliss
Sometimes I think that statement is truth
There are days I wish.. I could just go back to my youth.
