Long Day, Short Night

Nov 15, 2002 04:01

I have officially become the biggest procrastinator. Here I am at 3:34 thursday night (friday morning, whichever you prefer) writing in my LJ when I am supposed to be writing a rough draft for my 9 o'clock english class. Damn english.

I took a five hour nap this afternoon. My roomate Nicole and I came up with an idea last night rightly titled "The Nap Theory." We believe the world should function around naps. Yes that's right. Instead of sleeping for a healthy amount of time at night, we should sleep for 4-5 hours in the afternoon/morning and another 4-5 hours at night. Great idea, right? I guess I could just as easily move to Spain. Mmmm, siestas.

I am a horrible person. I have not updated my livejournal in a long time. So long I cannot even remember my last post.

I have many addictions (often confused with bad habits) in life including eating crushed ice, biting my nails, picking my nose (i mean....), and many more. But above all, the one that is going to bring me down the fastest is the epitamy of all computer games: click-O-mania. yes, it is an addiction. and i feel the need to feed it. constantly. especially due to the fact that i scored a zero on it last night. i have to do it again. i can taste it each time i play. Tim is no help. He downloaded it to my computer. Bad boyfriend.

I feel like I was in a variety show tonight. I sing in the Auburn Concert Choir and we partook (spelling? hmmm, can't think straight) in the "Sounds of Auburn" program tonight along with the marching band, symphonic band, stell drums band, the AU Singers, paton twirlers, AND flag dancers. Each group had their own performance time, but at the beginning and the end of the program the marching band, concert choir, and paton and flag girls were performing at the same time. It was a bit much. In attendence were many students and faculty, the Board of Trustees, and President Dr. Walker. The important people were sitting in the front row....five feet away from the paton twirlers. I was just waiting, hoping?, for one of those patons to go flying through the air and hit one of them in the face. Hmmm, there would go the music department's budget.

I guess I must go write more about children who do not get the attention they deserve from their parents. fun times. fun times my ass.
