The internet also makes you lazy.
...
For example, I just sat there for ten minutes watching the cursor blink.
Anyway, since moving in I have noticed an increase in cleanliness and general motivation. I thought this was directly attributable to the move, but I've reevaluated the new place's role in my rather drastic change of attitude since getting my internet back last night. Long story short:
11:18:32 PM daovonnaex: Haven't seen you in awhile
11:18:40 PM tapion576: Yeah, I finally got internet
11:18:46 PM daovonnaex: You had no internet?
11:19:05 PM tapion576: After asking the DSL company to install it, like, a month ago
11:19:28 PM daovonnaex: Gay
11:19:37 PM tapion576: You don't know the half of it
11:19:49 PM tapion576: They were supposed to come over about 2 1/2 weeks ago
11:19:59 PM tapion576: But the box was in the neighbor's yard
11:20:38 PM tapion576: And the fucking pussy who came over to install it postponed because he was scared of a harmless white lab
11:21:21 PM tapion576: So they rescheduled US, and not the people who should have gotten internet AFTER us, to Dec. 12th
It hasn't even been 24 hours since I've been back online and already I feel a regression. For the first time in the month and a half I've been here I actually just threw my clothes on the floor before going to bed. Not the end of the world, but when I woke up and saw that I realized the internet was the evil in my life and not the sloppy routine I fell into while living with the 'rents.
I've gotten pretty bored with this stuff in general so I should be okay. It's just the little things that worry me the most.
