1. Can you cook? - yes, now i can, and i do, a lot. gone are the days of blowing up hotdogs in the microwave. although i did inadvertantly let the lentils burn the other night, hahaha.
2. What was your dream growing up? - i really wanted to be either an astronaut or a dolphin trainer. why? i am not sure. probably because i saw that movie "Space Camp" one too many times.
3. What talent do you wish you had? - i wish i could speak any language i wanted.
4. Favorite place? - anywhere with tall trees
5. Favorite musical artist (of the moment)? - hhhmmm. Death Cab for Cutie, i think. for now. :)
6. The last book you read? - well, i'm reading "Waking the Moon" by Elizabeth Hand right now and i really like it so far.
7. What zodiac sign are you? - Leo.
8. Any Tattoos and / or Piercings? - 3 tattoos, ears are pierced but grown closed.
9. Worst Habit? - not exercising!
10. Do we know each other outside of Livejournal? - yes, for many years, and thank goodness for longtime good sisterfriends!!!
11. What is your favourite sport? - hmmmm, hard one. college football. hockey. golf (yes it is too a sport). soccer.
12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? - i guess it depends upon the day. generally optimistic.
13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with george w. bush? - try not to go nuts.
14. Best thing to ever happen to you? - quitting smoking.
15. Tell me one weird fact about you: i like to sleep with the covers over the top of my head and my face exposed.
16. Do you have any pets? - uh, yes! two sweet kittens!
17. Do you speak another language? - rudimentary italian.
18. What time & day is it where you are now? - saturday september 15 at 3pm
19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? - scary and wierd.
20. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? - i'd be able to speak any language in the world, fluently, without having to try.
21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? - hahahaha, both, and i think i have already been both!!
22. What colour eyes do you have? - very light blue, almost gray in fact. they look a lot bluer when i wear a blue shirt... so i often wear blue shirts, hahaha!
23. Ever been arrested? - no, thank god.
24. italian or chinese? - italian AND chinese, hahahaha! pass the spaghetti and the sweet & sour tofu!
25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? - save it save it save it.
26. What is your favorite work of art (at the moment)? - i'm really into the work of Jaime Zollars at the moment. you can see her stuff at jaimezollars.com... and i recommend that you do! she's great!
27. how do you take your coffee or tea? - coffee with milk & sugar, tea with milk and sugar or plain, depending. fruit teas do not require sugar or milk, obviously.
28. Do you believe in ghosts? - sorta.
29. Favourite thing to do in your spare time? - um, i'm sorry i can't discuss that sort of thing on the internet. hahaha! okay, i'll say writing my novel. or painting. or cooking, gardening, playing with my cats, reading books, hiking, looking at art, playing computer games. is that better? hahaha!
30. Do you swear a lot? - not so much.

Biggest pet peeve? - good lord, there isn't enough space to list them all. for today it is bicyclists who ride in the middle of the street with a line fo cars behind them. i don;t care how much of a badass you are, you can't drive as fast as a car and you should get your buns into the bike lane where you belong. hahahaha! (momentary prejudice against bike riders, so sorry!)
