Wow. That hurt. And the ending is a knife. Very visceral.

OUCH! My feelings.

Good job.

Also, I mean, there's a precedent with Grandpa Campbell choosing HER over the boys and betraying them. If Mary were to continue to choose the BMoL over her own sons, that's pretty much along the same lines.

I think Sam was thinking of Grandpa Campbell betraying them to Crowley on that last line...

Thank you!

UG That was so painful :'(

I guess it's too much to ask for the boys to be smart and let her work with the BMoL within their knowledge so that they can keep track of what BMoL are up to? Also to remember that they are working with some equally dangerous King of Hell and his mother and maybe stop trusting them so much?

I really don't want this ending you described but I'm afraid it might be pretty accurate.

You know, you have the smartest suggestion for them and I never even thought of it (and of course, neither did they!)

Thanks for reading!

I'm sorry...but my heart hurt too at the look on Sam's face at his mother's words...

Thanks for reading!

Really enjoyed this. You captured the brothers' attitudes very nicely. I liked your reasoning for Mary's actions seen through Sam's eyes.

Thank you for sharing!

I think all the Winchesters are familiar with doing the wrong thing with good intentions...
