I can imagine Ezekiel taking this road. The angels are really bad at the whole "good intentions" thing.

Hmmm! Let's see how close you came to what Show will do...

Powerfully written. You described the possession beautifully. Great line: "Sam staggered back, shrinking into familiar contours." And I SO feel for Dean. Yeah, it was a skeevy decision but I get why he did it. It was a no-win situation for him. Doesn't make it right, but I get it.

I intend this as just an interlude because there are so many ways the writers could go...I just wish I didn't feel all of them are going to hurt!

Very well written! I can totally understand why Dean did this andI would have done the same thing given the opportunity, what other option did he have other than to watch Sam die and I guarantee that Sam would made the same decision too. Of course, it's going to hurt when he does find out - this is Supernatural after all :))

And if he tells Sam, what if Zeke just erases the memory of being told? So many things wrong with this decision, Dean, we just know you are going to regret it...
