Those prices they're getting lately...OMG. I remember the good old days of con-going, when I could participate in the whole weekend for $35! The idea that people are paying over a thousand dollars to participate in these things makes me cringe.

But if you decide to go, hope you have a blast!

I'm actually going to Vancouver in August. Because I have been a responsible adult since 1975, and I will not feel guilty about indulging in one frivolous expense that includes a visit to a different country and meeting lots of virtual friends in person. This trip is just for me!

My sis and I went to an Stargate Con in Vancouver in 2009. It was great!!! The city is just beautiful.

Have a great time and blog all about it (with pics) when you get back just to make us all wish we had been there with you.
