I have never been particularly interested in fulfilling prompts until tahirire and blacklid put together a prompt site that consists of quotes from the episodes that can be interpreted any way the writer chooses. I've got a collection of ten now, just over 2,000 words, and decided to post my first set.

Lovely, succinct looks at both Sam and Dean. I especially loved the thin ice one (Dead in the Water), the Dean's Bar/Pick-Up Advice one (Bloody Mary), and Red (Hookman). The first was tragic, the second smile-inducing, and the third just outright chilling--extraordinarily vivid detail.

Loved the monkey-tail, weeped with the one with Dean drowning (or not, obviously) and smiled with mushy tears for Dean embracing Sam when he comes back.
Good ones, all of them, need to check out this community.

Btw: could you tell me the secret how to html the sweet community-icon-thingy? I mean, I can do the lj-user one, the a href-one and stuff, but I want the community-thingy, too :-(

Re: Fancy-ness--are you referring to having spnquotefic show up highlighted with the little icon? I got that by highlighting the plain text and then clicking on the toolbar symbol for LJ user.

They were short but each was so vivid. I really liked the Bloody Mary one at the bar but they all had a kick to them.
