Will gets treated like shit in the fandom, poor guy. I dont feel much about him, liked him in Jones, thought he and JJ were cute, knew he only came back because AJ got pregnant, love the idea of him being a stay-at-home dad right now. And that's it on how I feel about Will. Some people though, man, they put that guy through the ringer.
All kinds of fics are out there, Annie, stuff you may have never imagined and me either, and I have a pretty healthy imagination. Some of it is scary, some interesting, some just boggles my mind. The dark, scary places people will go in their head, especially sexually, and feel safe cuz these arent real people sometimes reminds me of Unsubs.
OMG, I love happy endings. Well, hopeful endings. I can only deal with the darkness when the light is given a chance to shine as well. I dont do straight angst, it makes me crazy, I need to know that the shit the people go through in the story is worth something on the other side and not just because "shit happens". I guess I'm with you "real life is crappy enough, at least let the fic end on a positive note".
Okay, I'll be the first to admit I hate him and his stupid accent [no disrespect to others who have it, just annoys me with HIM in particular and that dumbass look on his face- I laughed so hard when Em made a crack about the accent *huggles her* Something about how she hoped Henry wouldn't inherit it, I think? Whatever, awesome moment! And then she was like, 'Just playin'!' LOL] . But it's a bit desperate to twist him into a psycho abuser.
knew he only came back because AJ got pregnant
*grumbles* Some shows HIDE the actress' pregnancy [oh, boy, Xena would've been so much less fail!tastic without her pregnancy], so I don't know why AJ needed to be pregnant onscreen as well.

So score one for gender equality, lol. Even if it is a bit weird that he quit his job, moved out of state and is living off her now.

Okay, wow, that's a scary thought. But I guess as long as they use fandom as an outlet, it's a better alternative than...whatever psychosis they have leaking out into RL. *shudders*
Reminds me of that ep with the Malcom in the Middle kid, it's so haunting. You know, the comic bookgraphic novel artist whose fiancee was raped and murdered in front of him and he was nearly killed, and he went nuts and become a kung fu enforcer of justice and slaughtered all the baddies with his awe-inspiring super!skillz? It was so sad at the end, him just listening to her voice recording over and over...*sniffles*

Exactly! Otherwise it feels like it was all for nothing! All the pain and agony and striving for a better world- just to be screwed over at the last? Not cool.
I cant even watch True Night, the one with Frankie Muniz, its so damn sad. I saw it once and that was enough for me.
I admit Will's accent is annoying. And he always looks drowsy but I guess being an at-home dad is kinda tiring. And yeah, I know other shows hide pregnancies, which can go either way for me (sometimes they manage and sometimes its ridiculous) but in a show where they wear a lotta tight Kevlar, making JJ pregnant was the right thing. Plus it adds the dynamic of mother/FBI agent and the things that come along with that.
I definitely think writing is a great outlet and even going to dark, scary places doesnt really bother me......I love Stephen King and things like that. But since getting into CM, I've found dark, sexual things and that kinda spooks me out. I just skip over them though, knowing full well there is an audience out there for it and just moving on to something that I find interesting, like banter and such. Life is better because of banter......there needs to be more on the show.
