@ odakota_rose- dude, my dreams are getting more exotic. Last time, we were going on a road trip, this time, I dreamt that you and I were on holiday in Fiji together!
Aww, thanks, glad you liked it! And yeah, I didn't mention it- I was too overwhelmed with shipper glee, I missed quite a few points, damn it- but I love that she's kind of frozen and just in shock. It's not having a gun in her face because come on, she's tougher than that and she's faced down baddies before but from realizing what Jane did.
we have him holding the back door of the police car open for her
Dude, I don't want to harsh your squee but...I think it was less a shippy little Jello moment and more of a 'people don't leave the police car til someone opens the door for them, they can't open the door on their own because we don't want suspects jumping out and making a bid for freedom'. I think. I'm not a cop, what do I know, right?
Even with that rationalization, I still enjoy seeing him opening the door for her. It makes me giggle 'coz Lisbon and her control issues...being in the backseat and needing Jane to open her door...heh. I love that she looks back for a moment and realizes he needs to be alone and he can't come forward and meet the family. It's not a begrudging, mean thing on his part, just- he can't be around a family happily reunited when it reminds him of what he's lost, you know? And I love that she seems to take all that in with one glance and moves on ahead. These actors are so awesome, showing these little complicated things so capably. *luffs*
