Heh, they introduced cherry coke here a few years ago and THAT wasn't a success story either. I thought they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with that one...it was interesting, but...hmm. How did the Norwegians take to cherry flavor?

But it really was such a lovely episode, and the last scene... GUH.

I'm kinda worried now because I read spoilers for Revelations and they were all like 'omg, we get hand-holding in PUBLIC and another hug, SQUEEE!' I'm now thinking that if it's too good to be true, then on BSG, it usually is. My theory before was that they were so focused on Roslin dying that it wouldn't happen because it was boring and predictable, but if they really develop the A/R relationship, then that might be interesting and fresh enough to destroy with her death, if that makes sense. Like, they have to introduce a new element to make her dying more poignant and poetic and stuff. *shudders*

I'm actually happy about the break til 2009, gives me time with this ship and this show so I can really enjoy it before any possible tragedy, you know? I hope they release the first half on dvd again, so I can actually *watch* what everyone's hyped up about!

Norwegians didn't. Heh.

And yeah, Revelations did have those things, but they were subtle (well, mostly) and it didn't turn into the Laura and Bill Love show. The love was just there. I do think she'll eventually die, but with remarks Mary made about the relationship becoming deeper, not being easy but also interesting and gratifying for the fans, I do think they're taking it somewhere.

I admit the break is killing me a little, but if they were going to have, I'm glad they had it after this ep. It's a nice place to reflect over what happened and ponder where it might go next.
