Yeah, I know these shows aren't to everyone's tastes, but Once Upon A Time has been very entertaining thus far and I'm feeling pretty good about the writers from what I've read in interviews, I like that they talk a lot about characterization and there's none of that sacrificing character for plot thing that annoys me. They seem to know what fans are interested in and they're doing it right so far... *fingers crossed* I just love how sympathetically they write antagonists and how much fun everyone is, basically.
I've not read the books, actually! I resisted for ages 'coz the more hyped up a thing is, the more I tend to be put off, lol. (I blame that on the fact that the last thing I got suckered into reading 'coz of hype was Twilight, which...didn't go down well, to say the least *g*)
THG trailer looks so good and I'm mostly invested in the movie so far. IDK, I might break 'coz it doesn't come out til next year (MONTHS AWAY, OH GODDDD), or I might read the book after the movie, but atm, I'm just hanging out for the visual experience.

Aww, that's so lovely that the two of you are bonding over this! It's great when someone you don't ordinarily have much in common with gets excited over something you love, so hurray! \o/
