Yesterday I was walking around through the mall navigating through the hordes of ugly when I lost my sunglasses. Normally I set them right on top of my head but I realized that was stretching the frames. So I started either holding on to them or hanging them from my pants pocket. Apparently thats not a good idea because you can brush against things and amidst the clutter and confusion that is the mall you want feel or hear them drop. I tried for about an hour to find them by retracing my steps and talking with the workers in the stores but no dice. So now I'm in the market for some new sunglasses, and I think I've already found the ones I want to get. One pair of Oakley E Wire 2.0 and one pair of SI Ballistic 2.0, I get them mad cheap from the military thing I go through.
So everyone knows yesterday was daylight savings, and I even made it a point to set my clock back early in the day. Last night I got to bed early and woke up right on time, then went to class and got released early for lunch. As it turns out I didn't get released early but I didn't set my watch back. When I started driving in to town I was reassured by the car clock that I was out early so I took my sweet ass time. While out I got one of the worst hamburgers I've had since highschool, and by that I mean the burger tasted just like the bullshit we had in highschool. Anyway, I was sitting around calling people and texting a friend when I noticed it was 15 til 12 but I didn't have to be back til 15 after. Then I got a call
"Do you know what time you're supposed to be back?"
"Uh yeah, 1215hrs"
"Yeah, do you know what time it is?"
"I'm staring at the clock, its 1145"
"No, its 1245"
"Oh snap"
Yeah...so in my infinite wisdom I set forward my room clock only.
Today we started our three week block of evaluations where we get certified on everything. I'm not looking forward to the tedium and constant briefings but its necessary I guess.
I was rude to everyone in class today for no real reason. I just kind of get like that sometimes.
