So, one of Mom's friends has given me an Amazon gift card as a graduation present. 25 bucks. My automatic "Want!" response? Booster Gold and Supernova action figures, of course! I mean, I have to compare their aspects in person, since looking at pictures of
doctor_sneeze's Booster and
wonderfish's Supernova is really just not the way to do that.
Unfortunately, Booster costs ~15 dollars, Supernova costs ~13 dollars, and (since I checked this, too, just in case) Jaime's figure costs ~14 dollars. And I think that's without shipping. Harumph. (I do find it kinda hilarious that there's an offer on the page for Booster's toy to buy him and Supernova together, but also very aggravating that this offer doesn't lower the price by a single cent. Harumph, harumph, harumph.)
Nevermind that I'm sure that conversation would go really well with Mom. "What did you buy from Amazon?" "Toys! :D" I'm sure they'd find the body eventually. What else am I going to spend 25 bucks on, though? I mean, I've got a $50 gift card to Borders for all my book-buying needs, and the only book I really, really want that I don't think I could find at Borders is Nuklear Power, which is, naturally, over $25.
...Plus I kinda already have the irresistible urge to have Booster/Supernova/Whoever locked in EPIC BATTLE with Unicron.
...Well, in a strange turn of events, Mom is apparently perfectly OK with me buying toys. And even paying the little bit extra needed to get both Booster and Supernova. I am surprised, but most certainly pleased.
