School spirit is for squares!
Hm. I live in Virginia. There was a state-wide day of mourning for the Tech shooting today, the idea being to wear maroon and orange (Tech's school colors), instead of black. Maroon is one of the school colors for MY school.
YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD OWN MORE THAN ONE MAROON SHIRT, WOULDN'T YOU? I mean, like, half the people I know had specifically Tech shirts on. And even if they didn't, maroon's one of the school colors. Or they owned something in Obnoxious Orange.
The only maroon shirt I own is a long-sleeved polo from Academic Team, and today decided to be very, very hot, so that was a no-go. CRIT FAIL. I only own one orange shirt, too. It's got the Hershey Park anthro-Reese's Cups guy on it, which I wore.
AT LEAST I TRIED.

My dear non-evil twin wonderfish has bought me an lj subscription. Best good twin ever. I now have a whopping 102 icon slots for the next 6 months.
...I don't suppose anybody could point me to some really good icon communities? That'd be lovely.
