[Background] Rath Illuser was the Dragon Knight of Fire from the Dragon Tribe, fighting demons and Nadil, the demon lord. Now he is the Dragon Emperor of Dusis. He also happens to be part demon himself, fighting his own species. Originally, Rath was the Demon King of Arinas who was killed by the King of Arinas. He turned into a demon spirit who possessed the dragon dog Illuser, rampaging trough the lands of Dusis, killing everything in its way. He was cornered and defeated by the Dragon Lord Lykuleon, who decided to take him in, despite what he had done to the lands. Turned into a little boy, he was named Rath Illuser after the dog Illuser and he was raised as one of the dragon clans own. He even became the dragon knight of fire and received a dragon. Sharing blood with Lykuleon he’s considered the only rightful heir to the dragon throne. As a little child, he was reborn and had no memory of who he was or where he came from. Instead, he was nice, friendly and a truly kind little boy. However, Rath had an uncanny thing for sneaking out from the castle to hunt demons. This played right into the hands of the Renkin Wizard Kharl, who got a hold of him in a snow storm in the mountains, infusing him with demon seeds and energy to turn him into a demon. Instead of it being a success, Rath’s repressed memories from before the Dragon Tribe floated to the surface instead and he killed Kharl’s left bird, breaking free from the transformation. Kaistern, the blue dragon officer in the clan, and Rath’s best friend, managed to save him off the mountain, but from this point on, Rath pulled into himself and became cold and aloof and blamed himself for the killings he’d done. He’s also actually the dragon knight of Light, not Fire, but he took Fire too because he needed him. Having the Red Dragon Ball inside of him, he was also a possible candidate for the red Dragon Officer at one point. Rath absorbed Gil and Bierrez when he killed them, seeking the power, and since they were born from him from the start, as the same with many others. Going down a circle self hate and trying to commit suicide, Rath actually manages to die twice, first by Nadil stealing his body, making it his own. Cesia revives him, using Crewger’s dead body and Kaistern’s life force. The second time he died when Cesia released all the souls captured in him, also releasing Crewger’s soul which was his body, leaving him bodiless again. He’s yet again revived by Cesia, this time with the use of Zoma’s body. In the end, he finally finds some sort of peace, Cesia being some sort of support pillar to him, talking sense into him. He loves her. Simple and clean. Upon the Death of the Dragon Lord, Rath is appointed the new ruler of Draqueen.

[Current] Just returning home from a diplomat trip, he’s in the town below the castle~

[Personality] He loves hunting and killing demons. He lives for it. Outwardly, Rath seems happy and cheerful and social, friendly to most people, except demons that he indiscriminately kills. Inwards, and more and more noticeable though, he’s still a bit cold and aloof but he’s also come to peace with himself, is much more mature than earlier, and his previous hate has subsided into something much less. He still doesn’t like himself that much, but he knows he has a role to fulfil now. He’s good at putting up a shield and pretend to like everyone in front of people. Although, he can get extremely spoiled, childish and egoistical if he reveals his true side, getting upset or whatnot. Rath never shows his true side to people he doesn’t trust.

[Abilities] Uses powerful fire magic and can call forth his sword from a simple bell created by Cesia. He is pretty knowledgeable in magic and has some sort of duplication spell that he uses mostly for getting away from strangle grips by the Alfeegi clone dragon knight of Water, Rune. Apparently he can also use a range of hologram spells. It’s all very vague. Now as Dragon Lord, I assume he has more powers even. But I’ll leave that for the moment.

[Specialties] Can I list that his cooking probably kills? 8D I mean, his inability to not be able to learn is a special ability in itself. >>; He’s very adept at Fire magic, despite not being the Fire Knight.

[Affection] Anything as long as it’s not Kharl? >>; Just kidding, do what you want, the lot of you. I mean, you can at least try~

[Fighting] You wanna fight the Dragon Lord? >>; Rath’s a pretty kickass fighter. I mean, the guy LOVES to fight. Mostly demons, though~

[Other Facts] He’s lousy cook. Also, he can’t hold his liquor. He gets drunk on one glass of wine and it would ”take the shine outta the moon” if he even had just a tiny sip of anything else. He tends to be a ranty drunk and he could end up spilling his heart to you~ He also hates it when it snows. He recalls most of his bad memories from snow. Also, if Rath disappears from his duties he's either snuck out to fight demons as he did as little, OR, you'll find him in the library, reading. It's a hobby, you know~ -^__^-
