...ladies and gentlemen, the weekend has landed...

Thank god it’s Friday. This week seems to have gone on forever, even though I spent all of Monday travelling back from Speedfreaks ball. I’ve been tired, cranky and feeling quite ill…not a good combination. Me being a retard, I misplaced my repeat prescription. I thought ‘oh, it’ll be fine, I can go without until I find it. Right?’

WRONG.

Cue 4 days of dizzy spells, heart palpitations and anxiety attacks. Went to the doctors and she gave me two months supply, since she now seems to realise that I’m bloody hopeless with remembering/finding my repeat prescriptions. In other words, I feel better and much less like a spaz now. Hurrah :)

Work has been uber-boring today. All I’ve done is sit about and read random articles on wikipedia. The highlight of my day so far has been having chip shop chips at lunchtime. Even that wasn’t without it’s pitfalls, as little Luke insisted on playing Fallout Boy really loudly, and singing along…except his version went ‘This ain’t a scene, it’s a god damn arse face’, which sounded so much better than the original!

*sighs*

One hour and 20 minutes left to go. All the managers have gone home, so I’m not feeling any real motivation to eve look like I’m working any more. Everyone is off to Jen’s party tonight (which promises to be a good ‘un) so instead of sitting at home and feeling sorry for myself (which was plan A) I’ve decided to join Cassy et al in a trip to Metros, on an ‘emo safari’. If nothing else, laughing at all the unfortunate people (not to mention the unfortunate music!) should help to cheer me up. Then I plan to have a relaxing Saturday with some B-word practice thrown in, which should be followed by an awesome night at Bogiez, where I shall drink and dance and all shall be well in the world. Who knows, the hot guy I was talking to last time I was there may be there again. Now that would make my night!

Only 10 more days in this dead-end job. HMRC truly is the place where people’s hopes and dreams come to die…

Anyway, I think I should get more tea.
