Good Weekend

Last weekend was quite excellent. Saturday I biked about with Jackson. We ended up at Emmas for a bit, then we went to chick-fil-a at friendly where we ate. While we were within it began raining and thundering, so we scrambled back to the neighborhood in the begininngs of the thunderstorm. Then Emma's party reared up later in the day, to much hilarity. Sunday consisted of laying on a bench reading, and my neighbors party. It was Devin's (my mentally handicapped neighbors) birthday party, and Approaching April was there in its former glory. It was quite nice.

I'm really getting worried about the continuation of life, global warming and the avian flu seem like they could actually be reasonable threats. I heard on NPR that a family in South Europe died of it. Not much is flourishing now in culture, and it seems perhaps the world is declining. It seems the people are getting dragged down into apathy and floundering beneath the behemoths of business which clog our politics. Lately I know I keep forgetting to think about the world as a whole.
