I think its high time I post my take on the Choral Coffee house, despite the fact that its long and perhaps somewhat precedented.
This was a rather fun event. Beaconwood with the addition of Travis and the funky drummer was awesome, of course, they always are, but the funky drummer really added to it. Tina is an incredible singer, she sounds like a slightly fuzzy recording from the 50's. I really enjoyed her improvisational singing and such. Claire was really good, but sadly i missed much of her song because i was dawdling about in the hall like a simpleton. As the night progressed I slowly became aware of an inimical hunger which clawed its way from the depths of my stomach bitterly blighting various senses. I managed to ignore that for most of the time.
I highly enjoyed the great turmoil surrounding the Coke throwing, though I do apologize for partially instigating it, and I am a bit embarassed. I shall now relate it.
I was lounging in the upper area of the choral room when to my left Jackson emerged from beneath a table. I learned that Alex was after him because they had had some sort of water battle, so I got a bottle and filled it up with water. When Alex saw Jackson I came up behind him and poured water all over his hair, then turned and dashed out of the room. Little did i know Alex had a cup full of Coke and was not afraid to use it. Right as I turned the corner Alex threw the cup full of Coke, which in the abscensce of my body went flying into a group of people that stood against the wall. At that point I heard some screams about Coke so i ran down the stairs, but Alex was out so I was safe. Then he succeeded in crushing my bottle, spraying me in the face. There was a large mess, and much annoyance with us. It seemed mostly with me. I apologize to those who Alex doused in Coke, I suppose I should have been the one.
When Starlyn Garvy played, the Somethin Hot trio + Gwendolyn (I hope i spelled that right) paraded back and forth in a surreal manner. Then me and the boys walked home.
