We were in the car. I asked M to stop by the side of the road so I could capture some of that beauty. :-)

She makes a terrific show but then she expects everyone else to clean up after her... ;-)

And there's an Emily Dickinson line about fall colours that I can't quite remember.

True. :>) Like snow--pretty while it's falling, but not so much when you have to shovel it. (I'm assuming, since I live in a snow-free area.)
