Spring cleaning, my very own dugnad
...Dugnad is the word for this interesting phenomenon that is played out every goddamn spring in Norway, when people team up and make their surroundings (streets, shared areas connected to their living habitats, etc) gorgeous for springtime.
I decided to do my own dugnad this year, starting with LJ.
I have kicked out about 45 pages worth of notifications, and what not. Not bad, not bad, if I may say so. I seldom see the people I once used to hang out with, but that's okay. Life moves on, and other platform might simply be better for their needs.
Me, I'm going back.
Not leaving Tumblr, but I think a little time 'at home' is in order. Besides, I just realised that working with my LJ somehow makes my fingertips itch with the need of editing and writing. Add to this my old writing-playlists from old times, and hey, whatdoyouknow, I might even start posting again.
On spring cleaning and what not.
My one Hetalia fic is being translated to Russian. I find it amusing that the fic is actually called 'Spring Cleaning'. I have decided to finish the other story and post it as well. I'm proud of the result, and won't hide that it stroked my ego.
